Sealskinz All Weather Waterproof Gloves
Find the ideal pair of gloves for all weather conditions in this great collection at Sealskinz. We have gloves that can help protect you in both cold and warm conditions when undertaking an outdoor activity. They even look great too.
What gloves are suitable for all-weather conditions?
Gloves that perform well in all-weather settings are those that combine waterproof protection, breathable ventilation, secure grip, and robustness. The best all-weather gloves use multi-layer constructions where an outer durable layer resists wear, a waterproof membrane, such as our Aquasealz™ membrane, to prevent water ingress, and an inner layer that provides warmth or moisture-wicking so sweat doesn’t become a problem.
Are waterproof gloves breathable?
Yes, a high-quality waterproof glove such as the Sealskinz collection allow breathability. Our breathable membrane permit moisture vapour (your sweat and warm air) to escape, preventing clamminess and overheating inside the glove. When gloves lack breathability, moisture builds up, hands feel cold, clammy, or sweaty, and the glove becomes uncomfortable.
How do I choose durable all-weather gloves?
Durability in all-weather gloves comes from quality of materials, construction, and fit. Materials matter: outer fabrics must resist abrasion (from rocks, branches, zips, gear), grips should be reinforced (e.g. PU suedes, silicone prints), and stitching and seams should be strong and well-protected. Fit also affects durability: gloves that are too tight can stress seams and material, gloves that are too loose can wear on edges or catch on things.
