An improved design and better fitting sock, this is sock has been developed specifically for trekking and hiking in more arduous conditions. Similar to the Thick Mid Length Sock but with olive trim and designed for the Outdoor market.
Merino wool inner gives exceptional thermal and wicking performance. Deep padded loop pile around toes, sole, heel and achilles provide extra protection. Elasticated arch and ankle provide support and ensure a close, comfortable fit, with minimal friction within the shoe.
The kit kept our fingers and toes dry and warm in some very wet and slushy conditions. Our boots were often soaked, but our feet remained dry, essential for our future well being when we hit Antarctica where dry feet and hands will make the difference between serious injury or not.
