Dancing in the Rain

Dancing in the Rain

With the festival season looming, we take a look at some Sealskinz essentials. From bucket hats to waterproof socks, we have you covered!

Manchester’s biggest music festival, Parklife, kicks off on the 8th June. Last year’s edition of the festival saw torrential rain and mud, with a thunderstorm bringing things to a brief close. Expect a similar story this year - 2024 has been one of the wettest years on record, with festival goers increasingly anxious about the prospect of a washout summer.

The weather should not ruin your time. Our waterproof gear is used by athletes, adventurers and the British military, tackling the most extreme of environments time and time again.

Sealskinz socks utilise an industry-leading waterproof, hydrophilic membrane: Aquasealz™ technology. Aquasealz ™ Offers 360 protection against external elements, while maintaining a high level of breathability. Wet feet have always plagued festival lovers, ruining weekends. Sealskinz has spent years developing, testing and refining high-performance waterproof products, mitigating the impact of difficult environments.

The Raynham and Worstead socks are endorsed by the British Military, offering complete waterproofness. Available in a variety of colours, Sealskinz socks are heavily resistant to abrasion, maximising product lifetime. Sealskinz waterproof socks stand the test of time, protecting you in any environment.

Festivals come thick and fast after Parklife. With Glastonbury the last weekend of June, Wireless early July and Wilderness the 1st August, a proper festival wardrobe requires careful planning.

The Sealskinz Seething Bucket Hat employs the same Aquasealz™ technology. Waterproof and lightweight, the Seething offers refuge from sunshine and rain. A subtle, button-closure pocket can fit a set of keys and other miscellanies.

Part of the Vitae range, the Geldeston fleece was put into production this year. Warm and quick-drying, the Geleston is ideal for colder summer evenings. Reading, Leeds and Creamfields are all happening in late summer, making warmer festival gear a must have.
