Hinde Street Run Club

Last month we hosted our first run club at our flagship store on Hinde Street. Having seen 300 people sign up for the event, we felt both excited and a little nervous.

On a Thursday evening, with the sun beaming, people began to file into the shop. The first 50 received a free Hinde Street Run Club T-Shirt with the hare and tortoise graphic – a nod to this London run club being for everyone.

More and more people arrived —the sense of anticipation grew. Groups were assigned, and everyone congregated in the street for a quick briefing before setting off into the early evening sun.

Bringing people together was epic. Runners chatted, shared tips and some even spilled into the pub afterwards for a well-deserved drink. The route began on Hinde Street, circled Regent’s Park, winded back through Marylebone village, before finishing back at the shop.

Community runs in London have become more and more popular in recent times. We want ours to be for everyone —a place to socialise and have fun. The 24th April was exactly that—the start of a community we want to grow over the coming months.

The next run club is on the 22 May when we will get to do it all over again. Expect more free merch and refreshments as we take over the streets of Marylebone and Regent’s Park yet again. All abilities are encouraged, with the run held at a conversational pace. We cannot wait to see you there – sign up here.
